Milwaukee Marathon 10K Course Route Map

The race starts on 2nd and Freshwater in the heart of Milwaukee's Walkers Point neighborhood and goes east into the Third Ward before going past the home of the world's largest music festival – the Summerfest Grounds. Right after that is one of the city's most recognizable landmarks – the Milwaukee Art Museum – then a quick jog through Veterans Park along the Lake Michigan lakefront.

Once runners leave the park they head north on Lincoln Memorial Drive for about one-third of a mile before turning around and coming back south on Lincoln Memorial Drive all the way back the way they came from the start. The finish line is the same as the start. The route is USATF certified (Certificate # WI17031DM – Effective 10/6/17-12/31/2027).  COURSE MAP Aid Stations


Every registered 10K Race participant will receive:

10K Course Prize


Race packets can be picked up in person at the Pre-Party & Fitness Expo. All runners must show a photo ID to receive their packet. You may have a friend or family member pick up your packet for you. They will need a copy of your photo ID.

If you are unable to pick up your packet at the expo, will call packet pick up is available for $25 and can be added on during the registration process. If you have any questions, please send an email to info@runmilwaukeemarathon.com .


Finding a suitable parking spot can take longer than expected, especially on the east side. Take a look at our map of nearby parking spots. Other places include Lake Park and Veterans Park


Overall prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women, determined off of net time. The awards will be given out at the Finish Line Festival.

Age Group Awards

Age group prizes will be given to the top three finishers in the following categories for men and women:

17 and Under, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.

Age group award times will be determined by chip time.

Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. You must pick up your award at the results tent after the event. No awards will be mailed out.
