Congratulations, you’ve signed up for your race! Now what? Whether this is your first race or you’ve run so many you can’t count anymore, we’ve got the support to make this your best training.

If you're a seasoned runner and you're ready to take it to the next level, sign up for our Milwaukee Marathon Elite Runner Program. You might even crush Milwaukee Marathon's fastest time ever recorded!

Weekly Runs

Mondays at 6:00 p.m. at Lakefront Brewery, 1872 N Commerce St, Milwaukee, WI 53212

Join the weekly Performance Running Outfitters free fun runs as your weekly staple training run and having some fun along the way. Weekly Brewery Runs will be held on Mondays at 6:00 pm departing from Lakefront Brewery, located on North Commerce Drive. Routes will follow the Oak Leaf Trail and Riverwalk on a 3-5 mile route. Following the run, join us in Lakefront's Beer Hall for half priced pints and half priced fried cheese curds from Clock Shadow Creamery. Must be 21 to purchase alcohol. All paces welcome!

Distance Kick-Offs & Build Up Runs

We literally can not wait until race day and we want to celebrate your training milestones with you. Meet our team and join our running party during our free group build up runs. Whichever race you're training for, you'll have a guaranteed good time as we celebrate the monthly Milestones until race day at weeks 16, 12, 8, and 4.

All Build Up Runs will be held at Performance Running Outfitters: PRO Brookfield: Ruby Isle, 2205 N Calhoun Rd, Brookfield, WI 53005
All Routes will include:

  • water aid stations
  • free breakfast after the run
  • store discounts
  • prize giveaways for some lucky attendees!

Each runner’s needs are different and so is your training plan! Contact Nicole for a custom designed training plan to fit your life! Our PNC Milwaukee Marathon 5k Plan from Nicole Gainacopulos at Momentum of MKE will get you ready for your first 5k!

Cross Training Benefits for Runners:

Cross Training, such as cycling, yoga, cardio classes, or other non-running exercise can be beneficial for runners.  Cross training can increase cardiovascular fitness, promote injury prevention, speed up rehabilitation, and increase flexibility or muscle balance. Cross training can also be a great way to improve all over fitness safely while adding variety to training routine and increase overall enjoyment throughout training.

About your Coach, Nicole:

Nicole, owner of Momentum of MKE, has been coaching runners officially since 2011 and running as long she can remember. After graduating from Marquette University with a BS in Exercise Physiology, she continued the path towards coaching runners and traveling around the country to learn from expert and elite coaches, and customizes her style towards each individual runner. She now specializes in online training programs for runners of all ability levels. Nicole loves working with beginner runners as well as dedicated runners looking to focus on their goals, whatever they may be!

Deferred Entry Information

Weekly training can take its toll on the body. If, for some reason, you become injured before the race and need a longer recovery, please read our Milwaukee Marathon entry deferral policy.
